Druid Circle: Circle of Stars
Circle of the Stars Druids, often referred to astrologists, are druids who read the stars to learn the secrets of the tides of fate happening around them. By acting as agents of fate to ensure the stories the stars tell come to pass and to prevent the horrors they predict, the stars reward these druids with constantly shifting power, just as the stars themselves shift. These druids often serve as guardians and soothsayers warning of worldly threats, venturing even as far as civilization to herald coming dangers. As a druid of this circle, the favor of the stars is with you, and should you need it, their raw might as well.
Starting at 2nd level, you channel the power of the stars that guide you, gaining their blessing. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of Wild Shape to roll on the Druidic Horoscope table, gaining the benefit of that Astral Boon for the next 10 minutes or until you use this feature again or use your Wild Shape class feature.
Druidic Horoscope Table
|1||Your movement speed increases by 10 feet and opportunity attacks against you have disadvantage.|
|2||You have advantage on Strength checks and the first time in a turn you hit a creature with an attack, you can push that creature 10 feet away from you.|
|3||When you cast a spell that restores hit points to another creature, you regain a number of hit points equal to 2 + half your proficiency bonus.|
|4||You can’t be surprised and you may add your Wisdom modifier to your initiative rolls.|
|5||When you cast a druid spell of 1st level or higher, a creature of your choice within 10 feet of you gains a number of temporary hit points equal to 2 + the spell’s level.|
|6||You add half your proficiency bonus to any Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma check that doesn’t already include your proficiency bonus.|
|7||When you cast a druid spell of 1st level or higher, each creature of your choice within 5 feet of you takes 2 + the spell’s level of fire damage.|
|8||If you would fail a Constitution saving throw to maintain your concentration on a spell, you can immediately use your reaction to succeed instead.|
|9||You gain a bonus to your AC equal to your Wisdom modifier as long as you are unarmored or wearing light armor and not using a shield.|
|10||The first time you deal damage to a creature with a druid spell on your turn, that spell deals an extra 1d6 radiant damage.|
|11||You can cast speak with animals at will, without expending a spell slot.|
|12||When you cast a druid spell of 1st level or higher, you can teleport up 10 feet to
an unoccupied space you can see.
Read the Stars
To you, the stars tell a constantly shifting story and give insight into the past, present and future. Beginning at 2nd level, you can cast augury as a ritual. Once you reach 10th level, you can cast commune as a ritual.
As long as you can clearly see the night sky you don’t need material components for either of these spells.
You can call down the wrath of the star that watches over you in your hour of need. Starting at 6th level, you can expend your Astral Boon to cast fireball as an action without expending a spell slot, as though you had cast it with a spell slot equal to half your druid level (maximum of 9th level) and the spell ignores resistance to fire damage.
Once you use this feature, you must complete a long rest before you use it again.
Sway the Stars
The stars obey no mortal, but for you, they consider your petition. Once you reach 10th level, when you roll on the Druidic Horoscope table you can roll twice and use either number.
When you call down the wrath of a star, it takes form to fight alongside you. Starting at 14th level, when you use your Starfall feature, a fire elemental appears at the center of the blast as though you had cast conjure elemental, except it does not require your concentration. The fire elemental gains temporary hit points equal to your druid level, has a bonus to attack and damage rolls equal to your Wisdom modifier, and it ignores resistance to fire when it damages a creature.
